The Month of Ramadan
Surah Al-Baqarah
The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’ān was revealed as guidance for mankind, and as clear signs that show the right way and distinguish between right and wrong. So those of you who witness the month must fast in it. But the one who is sick, or is on a journey (should fast) as much from other days (as he missed). Allah intends (to provide) ease for you and does not intend (to create) hardship for you. All this is so that you may complete the number (of fasts as prescribed) and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful. [2:185]
The month of Ramadan was the month that the Qur'an was revealed as guidance for the Muslim Ummah. It was revealed to show us the clear signs to show us the right and wrong ways to live. It is mandatory for Muslims to fast for the whole month if they are capable of doing so. For example, one who is sick or is traveling can miss days of fasting but they must make up those days of fasting after Ramadan.
Allah, the Most Merciful, intends to make it easy for us during this blessed month. And because of this, it's important that we complete as many acts of worship especially during Ramadan to show our gratefulness to Allah (SWT).
Below is a list of some acts of worship we can do during Ramadan to increase our Imaan:

Pray all 5 daily prayers.
Do dhikr.
Fast the whole month.
Read lots of the Qur'an.
Be generous during this month.
Get rid of bad habits and create new, better habits.
Attend prayers at your local masjid.
Make lots of Duas!
Give to charity.
Feed others.
And many, many more!
