The EASIEST Yellow Rice Recipe
This quick and easy yellow rice recipe has become a go-to when eating anything with rice. Not only is it tasty with a beautiful pop of color, but it is packed with health benefits with the main ingredient being turmeric.
It's also as versatile as white rice! You can serve it with just about anything giving more color to your meals!

Ingredients for This Recipe
2 cups of Rice, washed
4 cups of Water or Vegetable Broth
3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Oregano
Instructions for This Recipe
Start by washing your rice until the water is clear.
Heat up your pot on medium and add in 3 tbsp of unsalted butter. Let it heat up until the butter melts.
Once the butter is melted, add in the washed rice. Let it fry in the butter for about 2-3 minutes.
Next, add in your seasonings. Mix the rice until all is covered well with the spices.
Let it fry for another minute or two.
Pour in the water or broth. Mix and let it cook uncovered until the water is 80% absorbed, about 7-10 minutes.
Once all the water is almost absorbed, lower your heat to medium-low and cover the pot. Let it cook for about 5-8 minutes, or until the rest of the water is absorbed.
Turn off your heat and let the rice sit covered for about 5 minutes. After about 5 minutes, use a fork to fluff up your rice for a better result.
