Our Lord is Allah (SWT)

Surah Al-Ahqaf

Surely those who say, “Our Lord is Allah,” and then remain steadfast—there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. [46:13]

It is they who will be the residents of Paradise, staying there forever, as a reward for what they used to do. [46:14]

In Ayat 13 of Surah Al-Ahqaf, Allah is telling us that if we can say that our Lord is Allah, the One and Only, and stay steadfast on our deen then we will have no fear or grief to worry about. Now, it's easy to say your Lord is Allah but do you actually believe this? Do you actually follow this? Are your intentions set straight? Are you doing everything in your life for Allah's sake and His sake only?

And then in Ayat 14 Allah is informing us that if we believe in Him as our only Lord and only Creator, we will be the residents of Paradise and stay there forever as a reward for being righteous servants to Allah. Isn't this beautiful and motivating? These two ayats should motivate us to become better Muslims. To increase our Imaan in any way we can. To worship Allah alone and make Jannah our final destination.

May Allah make us amongst those whose final destination is Paradise and may He guide us and increase our Imaan.
