Jalapeno Chicken with Bell Pepper
Jalapeno chicken with bell pepper is a super easy dish to make with a small number of ingredients! It also takes about 30 minutes to prep and cook this sweet and savory meal with a `beautiful kick of spice! It's a win-win!

With this dish, you can really add whatever vegetable you want. I typically go with adding bell pepper with the jalapeno. It's not too much, not too little. You can also go with the basic jalapeno alone with the chicken and it's still amazing!
Here are the ingredients you need:
Ingredients
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 1/4 cup Corn Starch
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cooking Oil
- 3 Cloves of Garlic
- 3 Jalapenos
- 1 Bell Pepper

Start by cutting your breasts into bite-size pieces. Marinate your chicken with 1/4 cup cornstarch. This will give a nice thin breaded coat when your chicken is cooked.

In a separate bowl, combine the soy sauce and brown sugar. Mix until the brown sugar is dissolved in the soy sauce. Set the sauce aside for later use.

In a pan, heat about a half teaspoon of oil, and once heated, add your chicken and cook it through.

Put your chicken in a separate bowl and set aside. It should look similar to this. I like cooking mine until it starts having nice light sear burns.

In the same pan you cooked your chicken, heat another half teaspoon of oil and add your 3 minced garlic cloves. Fry them for about a minute or so.

Add your chopped jalapenos and bell pepper to the pan. Mix it and fry it until the jalapeno becomes aromatic and your bell pepper softens.

Once your vegetables are softened, add your chicken pieces to the pan and mix. Let it all cook together for about a minute.

Pour your soy sauce and brown sugar mix into the pan and mix.

Drop the heat to medium and let the sauce simmer until it thickens. Once finished, you can serve this with a nice fresh bowl of white rice. It's so simple, yet so delicious!
