Honey Sesame Chicken - Panda Express Copycat Recipe

Updated: Jun 25

Have you been craving Panda Express lately?

Well, I have the perfect recipe for you! This dish has crispy chicken cooked in sweet, sticky honey sesame sauce. I don't think it can get any better than that!

Here is a list of ingredients you need for this recipe:

  • 2 Chicken Breasts

  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch

  • 1 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced

  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced

  • 1/3 cup Honey

  • Half cup Soy Sauce

  • 3 tbsp Ketchup

  • 1 tsp Sriracha

  • 2 tsp Sesame Oil

  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

  • Start by cutting your chicken breasts into bite-size pieces.

  • Next, you'll want to coat your chicken with cornstarch. This will give the chicken a nice crispy coat after you cook it.

  • Heat your oil in your pan. Once heated, add your coated chicken. Let it cook until the outside of the chicken turns a nice golden, crispy color.

  • While your chicken is cooking, let's make the sauce.

  • Mince your garlic and ginger. Add to a bowl. Then add the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, sriracha, sesame oil, and seeds.

  • Give it a good mix. Make sure there aren't any clumps from the honey.

  • Once your chicken is cooked, pour in the sauce. Turn down your heat and let the sauce cook with the chicken until it thickens.

  • Once done, top with some more sesame seeds and serve it over fresh rice or noodles!
