Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate chip cookies and banana muffins are my two favorite sweets to bake. I am so excited to share my recipe for these soft, chewy, and chocolaty cookies.
It took forever. And when I say forever, I mean years until I was able to finally bake a batch of cookies that didn't come out in the shape of a rock and quite literally, were as hard as a rock.

Everyone needs an easy-to-make chocolate chip cookie recipe to use when they're craving gooey, chocolaty, sweetness! It's only 9 ingredients and as soon as you mix all the ingredients together, you start the baking process! There's no wait time or chilling time. It's in and out in a matter of 10-15 minutes!
Speaking of those 9 ingredients... here they are:
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, Softened
- ¾ cup Granulated (white) Sugar
- ¾ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- Chocolate Chips

Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. In a small mixing bowl, sift your flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside for later use.

In a large mixing bowl, add 2 sticks of the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, & vanilla extract.

Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer, mix on low until it combines and becomes creamy.

Add your eggs. Mix well until combined.

Mix in the flour mixture, gradually.

Here's what your batter should look like after all the flour has been added.

Stir in chocolate chips. Don’t overmix the dough! You can add as much or as little as you'd like!

This is what the final result should look like.

Add balls of cookie dough to a non-stick pan and bake for 9-11 minutes or until they turn a nice golden color.
