Allah is Near

Surah Al-Baqarah

When My servants ask you, O Prophet, about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond with obedience to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided to the Right Way. [2:186]

This Ayat in Surah Baqarah is deep. Reading it and thinking about it tells us that even though we cannot see Allah, he is still near. He can still see us and hear us. We can't subject Allah to sense perception, but we can still talk to Him. How?

We pray. We pray to Allah and make dua in our Sujood. We ask Allah for help when we are in difficult situations. We thank Allah for all the good (and bad) happening in our lives. We cry to Allah to guide us. To keep our hearts firm in His religion. We ask Allah for everything and anything.

People oftentimes forget that prayer and dua can ultimately be your answer to everything. Allah (SWT) is the best of planners. He will give you what your heart desires and needs most. So believe in Him for He is Ar-Razzaaq, The Provider.
